In an area in southern India, a daily train carriage caught fire, leaving 9 persons dead.
In a horrible disaster, 9 people perished when a passenger who was making tea suddenly lost his balance and the railway carriage that was running on the regular schedule caught fire in one of the districts of southern India.
When the fire started soon before daybreak, the carriage was uncoupled from a train and parked at the Madurai railway yard in the Tamil Nadu state.
One vehicle that had been reserved by a tour company was parked there. According to Sally Taplapati, a spokesman for the Madurai district, one of them attempted to brew tea, which started the fire, as quoted by Agence France-Presse.

Sally Tablabati continued, "Nine people died, three of them were women... and nine others were injured but not seriously."
Video footage shows flames rising from the train carriage's windows, and while the identities of the fatalities have not yet been officially confirmed, several passengers were able to flee in time.
It is noteworthy that India is one of the second-largest producers of tea. As the nation's beverage, tea is an integral element of Indian culture, and the states of Assam and Darjeeling Province are among the most significant areas for its growth. Since India was ruled by the British, and the East India Company was established, tea production has mostly depended on the Assamese plantations.
